We are already counting down to the 2010 event – planned to be even bigger and better than last year. Following the huge success of last year the event has raised over £65,000* for local charities and this year aims to add to this further. *(Please see charities page to see where the money went)

The Eastbourne Half is very much a community event and is most definitely aimed at runners of all abilities. We as organisers are just as excited at seeing the last person finish as we are the first, so why not set yourself the challenge for 2010. Get out your running shoes and get training. Once again we are very grateful to Reid and dean, the Eastbourne Hotels Association and all our various sponsors and supporters and especially to our all stewards and marshals who help on the day. This is a thankless but very necessary task and gathering a large enough team of marshals is always one of the most difficult aspects to organising the event. So please if you or anyone you know could spear some time on the morning please do volunteer (click here).
